The day has finally arrived. After many weeks of rehearsal and a few cast adjustments, we are ready to go. Tonight at 6:00pm in Fremont Park in Sacramento, this amazing group of women will present Much Ado About Nothing for free.  If you can’t join us because you are too far away or it’s too hot out there, catch us on our Facebook page at 6:00pm today, June 1 and Monday, June 4th for our live stream event. My goal is to share this with as many people as I can because I am continually amazed, impressed and madly proud of this group and the work we do.

One last thing, we are a part of Mayor Darrel Steinberg’s Creative Economy Pilot Project and have expanded our offerings this year because of a generous grant. Part of this grant is to help stimulate Sacramento’s local economy, and to support this, we ask that you support the businesses surrounding Fremont Park and Cesar Chavez Park when you come see us. We are all part of this together, and are proud to be a part of such a thriving arts and culture scene. And we’ll certainly be frequenting Hot Italian, Starbucks and others after our performances this weekend. (Nope, they are not directly affiliated with us…yet.)

And finally, (beginning to sound like Dogberry!) if you like what we do and want to help us keep on, please consider donating something to our fund. We are a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas which means donations may be tax deductible to the extent the law allows.
